support and technical assistance!

Below are some of the key features of the Dashboard.

Responsive Layout:

The Dashboard is built using responsive layout such that it works on devices of all sizes. Application images are checked for the right size to render correctly on all devices of all sizes.

Hot Deployment:

After the initial deployment new applications can be added in Ping Federate cluster without restarting the services.

Protocol Debugging:

Marks and devious Semikoli but the Little Blind Text didn’t listen. She packed her seven versalia, put her initial into the belt and made herself on the way.

Messaging:

Administrators can add a global message for all users or add an application level tooltip for specific applications in case there is application specific downtime or event.

Branding:

The Dashboard allows changing the logo and colours to match your organization branding. The application icon branding could be customized but not recommended. Text labels could be rendered in multiple languages if required. Configuration of language packs is required

Easy to deploy:

Deployment and configuration of the Dashboard application is very easy, simply copy the distribution files at given locations on Ping Federate and configure the application list. It is matter of just few minutes.

OIDC Integration:

Ping Federate Dashboard application uses OIDC as authentication protocol to get user details. It uses Ping Federate as authorization server.

Caching:

The Dashboard creates a cache of application data to improve the performance and in case it is not able to connect to the Administration API to load application list.

Profile Management:

Dashboard application uses out of box Html adapter in Ping Federate for profile management. It can be configured with a separate URL in configuration.

Bookmark Applications:

The Dashboard can not only have links for applications integrated with Ping Federate or Ping Access but it can also host simple bookmarks.

Authorization:

Dashboard application uses group-based access control. Each application can be configured with a comma separated group list. Applications without group list are displayed to all authenticated users.

Password Management:

Dashboard application uses out of box Html adapter in Ping Federate for password management. It can be configured with a separate URL in configuration. Users can change the password stored in Active Directory or Ping Directory.
